Current Opinion on Peptic Ulcer Disease Menagement

The peptic ulcer disease is one of the most frequent digestive tract diseases. During past decades the great progress in our understanding of the gastric and duodenal ulcers etiopathogenesis has been achieved. It is connected first of all with discovering the role of Helicobacter pylori infection. Following new recommendations has let diminish the peptic ulcer disease incidence and reduce the number of the serious, often life-threatening, complications requiring often surgical interventions.
