Introduction: The multiple arrhythmias are rarely observed in electrophysiology laboratory. The atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia is reported to be associated with atrial flutter. However, the structural or pathophysiological link between these two arrhythias is not clear. Case report: The case report describes a 66-year-old female with atrial flutter and atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia simultaneously successfully treated with radiofrequency ablation with use of combined electroanatomical and classical electrophysiology method. Conclusions: Percutaneous radiofrequency ablation is the safe method of complex arrhythmias elimination. The cavotricuspid isthmus ablation not always eliminates favourable conditions for atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia. (Clin Exp Med Lett 2008; 49(3): 185-188)
