All psychological patients afflicted in war were selected in a census and were evaluated by a demographic questionnaire and a structured interview. Results: The results showed that somatic complaints(35.6%), emotional symptoms (17.3%), behavioral symptoms (7.6%), delusional thoughts (7.2%), sensory problems (7.1%), disturbances of thoughts (6.9%) were the most common symptoms in these veterans. Furthermore, the most common clinical features were the Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (44.2%). Conclusions: Violent battlefield stress causes disturbances in personality and according to the predisposing factors, causes mental disorders.
